Make your own flourless crispbread - Recipe

Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds, linseed crisp bread

This bread contains psyllium which is a prebiotic, a substance needed for healthy colonies of probiotics to grow in the gut.

A healthy colony of good bacteria in the digestive system is essential for healthy immune function.

My aim is to eat this bread every day

CRISPBREAD

 

Ingredients

75 ml sunflower seeds
75 ml pumpkin seeds
25 ml chia seeds
25 ml sesame seeds
25 ml linseed (freshly crushed)
2 tablespoons of ground psyllium
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 tsp fennel
0.5 tsp anise
or season as you like
250 ml water

Directions

1. Soak sunflower and pumpkin seeds for 8 hours
2. Oven 150 degrees
3. Prepare a sheet of baking paper
4. Mix all ingredients and let rest for 5 minutes
5. Spread the mixture on the baking paper (fairly thin)
6. Bake for 60-75 minutes (depending on the oven)
